Mapping Police Violence, the Washington Post Fatal Force index, Fatal Encounters, the Invisible Institute Citizens Police Data Project, and a four-year community news archive, all merged and deduped into one canonical file. 82,000 raw rows reduced to 63,000 canonical incidents through cross-source matching on victim name, state, and date. Every entry tracks its source provenance and primary documentation URL; no entries without sourcing. Browse by year, by source, or by named officer; bulk download as CSV or JSON, free under CC BY 4.0. The Behind the Blue Wall historical dataset is being chased separately through Invisible Institute outreach.

Engagement Toolkit
17 principles · 11 families · 9 scenarios · worked examples

A field manual for talking to people. Seventy named techniques drawn from years of streams, organizing, and field notes.

Good faith, bad faith, friend, foe, exploratory, directed ... nine scenarios, eleven move families, all with worked examples from real exchanges. Longform handbook for the deep read, interactive picker for real-time triage during a conversation, browsable catalog of every move. The Custom Firmware Principle runs through it: every person you meet runs different cognitive software, so the moves are tools to compose against the specific person in front of you, never a script to recite. Family J (the leg sweep) carries explicit guardrails because last-resort confrontation has its own ethics.
