HIRE ME LABOR-01 · THE COMMONS IS NOT FOR SALE

My labor is for sale.
The commons is not.

Movement worker. Rhetorician. Ordained heretic. Audits, crisis work, infrastructure, words, and training for organizations with budgets.

Organizers: everything you use on this site stays free, forever. This page exists so that never changes.

What I hire out for

Five things. Each one is work I already do, priced in the three bands spelled out right below. Scope gets settled in conversation, not by a form.

02 Hostile-attention spaces

Community Operations + Crisis Response

Fifteen years running an anti-authoritarian, neurodiverse, allergic-to-managers community, the population that eats normal community management alive. I advise platforms, projects, and orgs on governance, moderation, de-escalation, and what to do when the fire is already burning.

Advisory retainer or per-incident · federated platforms welcome
03 The liberation stack

Movement Infrastructure

This site is a static stack I own end to end: no CMS, no tracking, no third parties. I build the same for organizations: migrations off WordPress, Google, and Substack, accountability databases with libel rails, and Know Your Rights materials for your jurisdiction or your population. If your infrastructure spies on the people you serve, that's fixable.

Project-priced · selective intake
04 Two voices, receipts attached

Words for Hire

Op-eds, essays, and grant narratives for aligned organizations. Ghostwritten means ghostwritten: your name, your voice, my labor, and nobody ever knows.

Per piece · grant work flat-fee
05 Virtual-first

Speaking + Training

Organizing fundamentals, rights education, de-escalation from practice, and a keynote in a register you won't get anywhere else, from twenty years an ordained minister, none of them a believer. One hard boundary: my persuasion toolkit is not deliverable as paid training. Not at any price. That one belongs to the commons.

Honorarium to fee, by band · travel limited, screens unlimited

The three bands

Self-assessed in good faith. Say which one you think you are when you write; we'll figure out the rest together.

Funded

Real budget, payroll, or foundation money behind you. Full rate. You'd have paid some consultancy anyway, and I'm better at this.

Movement

Real organization, no real money. At cost, or sliding. We'll make it work.

Unfunded

Collectives and organizers with nothing. Free, when I have the capacity. The funded band pays for you. By design.

Receipts

I don't do resumes. I do receipts. Most of what follows is live, inspectable, and mine, right now. Some of it never will be, and that is the point rather than an excuse. Work whose entire value is that it stayed private does not get published as a case study, and anybody who shows you their confidential engagements is telling you exactly how they will handle yours.

How money works here

You've seen the offers. This is the contract they operate under, and it doesn't bend for any invoice. If you're deciding whether to write to me, this part tells you exactly who you'd be working with.

§ 01

The commons stays the commons

Every toolkit, every Know Your Rights page, every dataset, and every essay on this site is free, forever. No paywall is coming. No premium tier is coming. No login, no email gate, no lead capture. The tools are not marketing for this page. This page exists so the tools never have to earn a dime.

§ 02

I sell labor, not access

What's for hire is my time on your problems: auditing, crisis work, building, writing, and teaching. The moment something I make is built for the commons, it belongs to the commons. Nothing on this page unlocks anything anywhere else on this site.

§ 03

Institutions pay. Comrades don't.

The bands above are the practice; here's the principle. The funded band pays for the free one. That's the design, not an accident. Pricing is politics, and I price like I mean mine.

§ 04

One-way glass

This page points at my work as proof. My work will never point at this page. No banners in the toolkit, no pitch in the writing, no ads on the stream. If you never noticed this page existed, that was on purpose.

§ 05

No surveillance-capitalism moves

No analytics, no tracking, no mailing list, no booking funnel. Same promise as the rest of the site: no tracking, no cookies, no bullshit. References from past work appear only with enthusiastic consent, anonymized by default.

§ 06

The community is not for sale

My streaming community will never be monetized. Ko-fi exists as a gift that keeps the lights on. It gates nothing, and it never will.

§ 07

Why this page exists at all

Because I'm chronically ill in America, medication has a price, rent has a price, and capitalism is the water every one of us is swimming in. Anarchists have sold their labor in every generation ... the line is enclosing the commons, and I don't cross it. I have hours. Hours have always been for sale. Buy some.
